Boundary Adjustments

Boundary Adjustments

Shifting a boundary between titles can make land more practical to own, access and use. We handle the survey work from scheme plan to lodgement with Land Information New Zealand.

A boundary adjustment survey relocates existing property boundaries to better suit land use, access or ownership arrangements. It's generally a transfer of land between existing titles without increasing the number of titles.

What's included

  • Topographic survey to help identify the proposed adjustment area
  • Scheme plan showing the proposed boundary changes
  • Resource consent support, working with planners and other consultants as required
  • Land transfer survey, formally defining the new legal boundaries
  • Council certification support
  • Compiling and lodging all documentation with Land Information NZ

Considering a boundary change?

Whether an adjustment is straightforward or complicated depends on your titles and your council. We'll take a look and tell you where you stand.
