Freeholding Crossleases

Freeholding Crossleases

Converting a crosslease to freehold gives each owner separate title to their own land.

When freeholding a crosslease title, it gives each property owner separate ownership of their own parcel of land by removing shared ownership. All owners under the existing crosslease must agree before the conversion to freehold can go ahead.

Why Freehold a Crosslease?

It removes the shared ownership and gives you separate title to your own property, which means more flexibility for future development, alterations, financing and sale. In many respects the process is the same as a subdivision that results in separate freehold titles.
